NBA: Bucks “Fear The Deer”

With the 2019 NBA All Star Weekend Wrapping Up This Sunday Night with Team LeBron vs Team Giannis 8pm ET on TNT, I wanted to take the time to address the Deer in the room: The Milwaukee Bucks (43-14, #1 In The East) currently hold the best record in the league. This young core led by MVP Prospect Giannis Antetokounmpo is currently ranked better then current defending NBA Champions The Golden State Warriors. I can’t help but wonder why the NBA Media isn’t paying much attention to the new “Beast In the East”. Is it because everyone is still expecting the Boston Celtics (37-21, #4 In The East) to get hot the last 20+ games of the season and decimate the Eastern Conference? Is it because the Toronto Raptors (43-16, #2 in the East) have a proven NBA Champion in Kawhi Leonard leading them to the NBA Finals? Or is it because most NBA analysts can’t pronounce Giannis name correctly? Whatever the reason is, I refuse to let the Milwaukee Bucks continue to be ignored and slept on by the League. This team plays at the elite level every night and they have the team record to prove it. This season Giannis wants the MVP award just as much as he wants to bring a championship back to the same franchise NBA Hall Of Famers Kareem Abdul Jabbar (then known as MVP Lew Alcindor) and Oscar “Big O” Robertson led to a Championship in 1971. In my opinion, if Giannis continues to develop his jump shot and keeps building chemistry with the strong young core he currently has combined with the coaching skills of Head Coach Mike Budenholzer, the Milwaukee Bucks will continue to dominate the Eastern Conference and possbily will make NBA Finals appearances for years to come...or at least until the Boston Celtics, Toronto Raptors & Indiana Pacers step their game up.
