NBA: “Harden Is Houston”

With Center Clint Capela Out for at least 4-6 weeks with a right thumb injury, the future of the Houston Rockets (#4 in the West, Currently 25-18) now is completely on the shoulders of 2018’s MVP James Harden. Harden, Who now averages 36 PPg has led his team 7-3 out of their last 10 Matchups and recently broke Kobe Bryant’s record of 16 consecutive games with 30+ ppg with a 57pt Win over the Memphis Grizzlies (#14 in the West 19-24). However, with all this success and all of these injuried one cant help but wonder: Will the Houston Rockets meet this seasons expectations during the 2019 NBA Playoffs? Chris Paul is still nursing a hamstring injury (Left Leg this time) & Eric Gordon is out with a knee injury. Can James Harden sustain this MVP level of production amidst his teams injuries? Or will he eventually flame out in the 1st & 2nd round of the Playoffs? In my opinion, resting CP3, Gordon & Capela going into the 2019 All Star Break is Damage Control to increase overall Team Stability and Decrease the chances of castastrophic Team Injuries that can cost them a true chance at defeating the Defending Champion known as The Golden State Warriors.
