NBA: Knicks “Still Tanking 4 Zion?”

The New York Knicks have historically been one of the worst teams in NBA History. Aside from the Carmelo Anthony Era Of The 2010’s, the Knicks haven’t been relevant since the Patrick Ewing Era Of The 90’s. Fast forward to January 31st 2019, the New York Knicks decide to trade injured franchise star Kristaps Porzingis (Torn ACL), Tim Hardaway Jr. & Courtney Lee To the Dallas Mavericks for Dennis Smith Jr., DeAndre Jordan, Wesley Matthews and a 1st Round Draft Pick. According to Adrian Wojnarowski Of ESPN, Porzingis has grown uncertain that the Knicks can build a winning franchise around him and wants to play for a championship contender. In my opinion, this trade will most likely increase the Knicks chances to land a Free Agent this summer by bringing in these supporting pieces from Dallas. However, this Trade may cost the Knicks their chance to get the #1 Draft Pick Zion Williamson. Teams like the Chicago Bulls, Cleveland Cavaliers & the Phoenix Suns have successfullay committed to tanking 4 the Zion Sweepstake by losing as many games as possibl and not attempting to trade any players as of yet. I believe that Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban is confident that Kristaps Porzingis & Luka Doncic will be the key elements to bring the Mavs back into playoff contention next season once Porzingis returns from rehabbing his ACL. Ladies & Gentleman Keep in mind that the Trade Deadline is February 7th and this years upcoming Free Agency Class will be Epic. This trade is just the beginning....The Saga Continues.
