NBA: Lakers “Lakeshow 2.0 On Hold?”

If you’re a Los Angeles Lakers Fan, this article waa written specifically for you. NBA Superstar Lebron James will miss his 16th game on January 27th vs the Phoenix Suns. Head Coach Luke Walton stated earlier this week that Lebron “looks like he still can play very well”. However, according to Fox Sports Anaylst Chris Broussard, James’s Agent Rich Paul stated “Lebron is not on anybody’s timetable. If it was the NBA Playoffs, he would be playing.” The Lakers have gone 5-10 of their last 15 games without Lebron. Injuries to key players Lonzo Ball & Kyle Kuzma have limited the teams roster rotations. In my opinion, the Lakers can still make the Playoffs (Currently 25-24 #9 in the Western Conference). However, the sooner Lebron, Lonzo & Kyle return on the floor will ultimately determine what seed the Lakers will receive and whether this current roster will make it out of the 1st or 2nd round before facing the back to back Champions the Golden State Warriors. I love a great comeback story, so hopefully the Lakers can get back to 100% as soon as possible. As far as Sunday’s Matchup vs the Phoenix Suns...They better win this game and show the League that even with a list of injuries, Trade rumors & potential coach firings, the Show Must Go On!
