NBA: Lakers vs Celtics “Is This Your King?”

As a long time fan of the NBA, I never thought I’d live to see the day the Los Angeles Clippers would be better than the Los Angeles Lakers. I didn’t think that the Sacramento Kings would ever beat the Lakers out of the Playoff Hunt. I couldn’t even imagine a Boston Celtic All Star like Kyrie Irving would be celebrated by Laker Fans in the Staples Center after blowing out a Lebron James led Lakers 120-107 during Saturday’s Primetime Matchup. The league has changed the game from what I used to watch as a kid in my parent’s family room. The highlights from the game display Kyrie Irving in full “Uncle Drew” mode schooling a mentally and physically defeated Lakers nearly every possession. Lebron scored 30 Pts, 10 Rebs & 12 Assists, but Kyrie also Dropped 30 Pts, 7 Rebs & 5 Assists. In my opinion, Lebron’s Automatic Triple Double Machine is not enough to ignore the Lakers lack of team chemistry or absense of defensive presence against elite playoff contenders. The Los Angeles Lakers have given up early this season due to injuries, Trade rumors & Lebron’s Poor Leadership. The moves made this upcoming off-season will most likely determine if Lebron will bring a championship to LA or become just another failed attempt for Lebron to catch up to the “Ghost Of Michael Jordan”.
