This team sits comfortablay in the middle of the 2019 NBA Playoff Race in the Eastern Conference After missing the playoffs for 4 seasons. From clearing salary cap space for max contracts to dumping bad contracts off the books, this new regime led by D’Angelo Russell has a very bright future as a threat in the East. In my opinion, unless the New York Knicks get Free Agents Kevin Durant & Kyrie Irving & Draft the #1 Prospect Duke Superstar Zion Williamson, The Brooklyn Nets will continue to be the better basketball team of New York City. No disrespect to the Legendary Madison Square Garden but the Barclays Center currently has a better chance to hold a championship caliber team until further notice.
