NBA: Rockets “Ready To Launch?”

The Houston Rockets (#4 In the West, 38-20) have been a team with championship aspirations the last 5 years. Led by 2018 MVP James Harden, the Rockets have cemented the franchise in the NBA Playoff Picture with Head Coach Mike D’Antoni & GM Daryl Morey constructing the roster to build around Harden. The Golden State Dynasty was the only team in their way of the NBA Finals. With Steph Curry, Klay Thompson & Kevin Durant our of the way & the signing of 2017 MVP Russell Westbrook, the Rockets see their championship window closing quickly. The recent acquisition of Robert Covington and trade of Clint Capela to the Atlanta Hawks is a clear sign of “Championship or Bust” with the “small ball” offensive approach to the remaining games in the 2019-2020 NBA Season. In my opinion, the Houston Rockets will either make it to the Western Conference Finals or fall in the 1st Round to any of the following contenders: Denver,Utah or Oklahoma City. Ultimately, that‘s what is so frustrating about the Rockets: Anything and everything is possible.
