NBA: Warriors “End Of A Dynasty?”

With the Golden State Warriors Down 3-2 Facing Elimination Thursday Night versus The Toronto Raptors, The entire NBA can’t help but wonder if this is the end of a great 5 year run. For those who missed the dramatic Game 5, Kevin Durant returned after missing a month of playoff action due to what Team doctors claimed as a “Mild Calf Strain” Dropped 11 Pts In The first 12 minutes of the 1st Quarter going 3/3 from the 3pt Line. However, just as The Warriors gained an 8pt lead, Kevin Durant Ruptured his Achilles Tendon. This injury appeared to deflate the overall team morale, but the Raptors didn’t gain the lead until the 4th Quarter. Raptors Head Coach Nick Nurse called a timeout to give the starters a breather. Unfortunately, that time-out gave Steph Curry & Klay Thomp a chance to regroup. The “Splash Bros” went on a 9-0 run going 3/3 From The 3pt Line. With Kyle Lowry missing the buzzer beater 3pt shot, the Warriors barely won Game 5 106-105. With the Warriors getting one more chance to win their last game in the Oracle Arena, I have to let it be known that the Toronto Raptors are Undefeated this season in Oakland, Kawhi is essentially unstoppable, KD is out indefinitely, Andre Iguodala, Demarcus Cousins & Kevon Looney are injured or banged up. In my opinion, Toronto has absolutely no reason to force a Game 7 with this broke down version of the Warriors. Toronto is healthy, great on defense and offensively able to score from almost every player on the roster. With Kevin Durant having a successful Achilles surgery, he will miss the entire 2019/2020 NBA Season. I believe this will greatly impact not only the Warriors Dynasty but also the 2019 NBA Free Agency which officially begins July 1st.
